The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) on Sunday organised route marches across Bengaluru as part of its centenary celebrations, with thousands of members dressed in the RSS uniform participating in the event.

For organisational convenience, the city was divided into northern and southern zones, with 100 locations identified for the marches: 51 in the south zone and 49 in the north zone.

According to organisers, the number of participants at each location ranged between 200 and 500, while the Chickpet march witnessed one of the largest gatherings, drawing nearly 1,000 members.

The marches are part of a series of events the RSS is conducting nationwide to commemorate 100 years of its founding in 1925.
