A square yard of land in Chintal of Quthbullapur attracted a bid of ₹1.14 lakh, during a public auction held by Telangana Housing Board on Monday (October 6, 2025). A total of ₹44.24 crore was generated through auction of 18 open plots and four flats. The bids for other plots varied, with average of ₹91,947 per square yard.
While the offset price per square yard, for a 513 square High Income Group (HIG) open plot, was ₹80,000, it attracted ₹1.14 lakh per square yard during the bid. Another HIG plot attracted ₹1 lakh per square yard, said Board’s Chairman V.P. Gautham.
In earlier auctions by the Board, a square yard of a plot on Kukatpally attracted ₹2.98 lakh, bid for a commercial plot in Gachibowli reached ₹2.22 lakh. It is scheduled to hold auctions for open plots in KPHB, Nampally this week.
