The Centre of Excellence for Cybersecurity-Karnataka (CySecK) inaugurated the first cohort of its Cybersecurity Finishing School on Monday at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc).
The programme aims to develop a skilled cybersecurity workforce by equipping students with advanced technical expertise and industry-relevant practical skills. A total of 50 students from across Bengaluru have been selected to participate in the inaugural cohort of this intensive training initiative.
The Cybersecurity Finishing School is designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry needs, preparing students for cybersecurity roles through hands-on training, mentorship, and exposure to real-world use cases.
The programme is part of CySecK’s broader mission to promote awareness, skill development, and innovation in cybersecurity across Karnataka.
