The Opposition Congress-led United Democratic Front (UDF) staged protests in the Kerala Legislative Assembly on Monday (October 6, 2025) demanding the resignation of Devasom Minister V.N. Vasavan in connection with the allegations regarding the alleged theft of gold in the Sabarimala temple.
As soon as the Question Hour commenced at 9 a.m., Leader of the Opposition V.D. Satheesan demanded the Minister’s resignation.
UDF members stormed the well of the House with placards and banners.
Following this, Speaker A.N Shamseer announced that the House was adjourned temporarily.
