Nandyal MP Byreddy Shabari says NDA government giving priority to skill development, jobs for youth

Nandyal MP Byreddy Shabari said the NDA government was giving priority to skill development and employment security for the youth.

Ms. Shabari on Wednesday (September 16, 2026) inaugurated a conference titled ‘Assurance for the Youth’s Future’ at Sri Ramakrishna Degree College in Nandyal. Addressing the gathering of youngsters, she said lasting change, at the State or national level, was possible only through the power of the youth.

Ms. Shabari said she was happy to launch the event in her hometown, Nandyal, among the youth who would shape India’s future. Rayalaseema was once known for severe drought, farmers’ hardships and migration for want of jobs, but the situation had changed, she said. ‘Our region is racing towards development, moving away from its past struggle with drought, and the arrival of industries is completely transforming the face of Rayalaseema,‘ she said.

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Minister for IT Nara Lokesh were holding talks with global investors to make the State a hub for investment, she said, adding that large industrial investments flowing into the State would create thousands of jobs for local youth. She urged the younger generation to take part responsibly in nation-building and to use their vote to elect leaders who could shape the future of society.

After her speech, the MP took questions from the students and answered them in detail, on higher education, competitive examinations, start-up ideas and jobs in local industries.

G. Ramakrishna Reddy, Chairman of Sri Ramakrishna Educational Institutions, said the ideas of the youth formed the strong foundation for nation-building. ‘Today’s students possess immense talent and a fresh perspective; with the right guidance and support, they can achieve wonders,‘ he said.

College Director G. Hemanth Reddy said: ‘India possesses the largest youth workforce in the world. Our country’s development and economic prosperity depend entirely on the decisions made and the initiative shown by the youth; the power to reshape the course and destiny of future generations lies solely with the youth.‘
