In a review of e-file clearance in the last three months, SPSR Nellore district has secured the top spot.

The district has stood first among all the districts in the State for speedy disposal of e-files, prioritising speed, transparency, and efficiency in government administration. District Collector Himanshu Shukla has been ranked first among all Collectors in the State.

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu announced this during the second day of the District Collectors’ conference held in Amaravati on Friday. He specially commended Mr. Shukla for demonstrating administrative efficiency through speedy processing of e-files. He praised the efforts to avoid pendency of files related to public issues.

Between June 1 and September 10, the District Collector had resolved 1,492 files, achieving 100% disposal rate. Furthermore, the district administration demonstrated speed and efficiency, with the average time taken to resolve each file being 5 hours, 29 minutes, and 22 seconds.

The Chief Minister also lauded ‘Palle Veekshana’ (Village Visit) programme initiated by the Nellore District Collector. He praised the innovative initiative for bringing administration closer to the people by visiting rural areas, directly understanding the residents’ issues, and taking steps to resolve them through coordination with the concerned officials.
