TV actor Arjun Bijlani was involved in a car accident while returning from a promotional event for Chumbak Colony. The actor confirmed the incident on Friday, August 21, and assured fans that he and everyone travelling with him are safe.
Arjun had attended Indian Game Show as part of the promotional campaign for Chumbak Colony. The accident reportedly took place while he was returning from the shoot.

Initially, Arjun’s team shared a statement that said, “Arjun had gone to participate in an Indian Game Show to promote his project. His car met with an accident while returning from the shoot. Fortunately, Arjun and everyone in the car are safe; no one suffered serious injuries, and the actor is doing well.”
The statement added, “The incident caused some concern, but the good news is that everyone involved is safe. Arjun is eagerly awaiting the release of Chumbak on Netflix.”

Hours after the confirmation, the actor shared a video on his Instagram profile and said that while he is safe and sound, his car is damaged. He jokingly added that since he has insurance, there’s nothing to worry and also thanked everyone for the concern.

On the work front, Arjun is gearing up for the release of Chumbak Colony. The actor has been promoting the Netflix project and recently appeared on Indian Game Show as part of its promotional campaign.

Arjun has also recently addressed rumours about his relationship with actor Mouni Roy. The two have been close friends since working together on the popular television show Naagin. Addressing the dating rumours, Arjun said that they are only good friends and spoke about attempts to tarnish Mouni’s reputation. He also said that Mouni is currently going through a difficult phase in her life.
The actor will now be seen in Chumbak Colony. The upcoming multi-generational comedy series will premiere on August 28, 2026, on Netflix.
