One person died and four others were injured in a road accident in Belagavi district on Saturday (September 27, 2025) night.
A container vehicle moving on one side of the Pune-Bengaluru national highway fell on a SUV coming from the other side, near Kanagala village. The victims were all in the car. They hailed from Satara in Maharashtra.
The container was going to Sankeshwar from Nippani and the SUV was going to Nippani from Belagavi. Police officers from Sankeshwar police station visited the spot and began an investigation.
