The Hyderabad Traffic Police have announced a four-day traffic diversion plan in view of the construction of the Comprehensive Development Elevated Corridor between Saidabad Junction and Yadagiri Theatre. The diversions will remain in force from July 18 to July 21.

As part of the construction work, one side of the road between Saidabad Y Junction and Yadagiri Theatre will remain closed. The police have advised commuters to avoid the stretch between Nalgonda X Roads and Owaisi Hospital (DMRL Junction), warning of heavy congestion on adjoining roads and junctions during the period.

Traffic travelling from Nalgonda X Roads towards Chandrayangutta, including four-wheelers, RTC buses and heavy goods vehicles, will be diverted at Saidabad Y Junction. Vehicles will proceed via the DCP East Zone office, Saidabad Law and Order Police Station, Saraswathi Nagar Kaman, Sankeswar Bazar, Indian Petrol Bunk, Singareni Colony, Onus Robotic Hospital, Champapet Main Road and Laxma Reddy Garden before joining the DMRL Rotary.

Similarly, vehicles travelling from Chandrayangutta towards Nalgonda X Roads will be diverted at DMRL Junction. The alternative route will pass through Laxma Reddy Garden, Champapet, IS Sadan, Singareni, Sankeswar Bazar, the 105 Bus Stop, Saidabad Law and Order Police Station, Saidabad Y Junction, Chanchalguda and Malakpet Fire Station. The diversion is applicable to four-wheelers, RTC buses and heavy goods vehicles.

For two and three-wheelers travelling from Chanchalguda towards Saidabad Y Junction, the left-hand side road will be converted into a two-way carriageway, while the right-hand side road will remain temporarily closed. The same arrangement will apply to vehicles travelling from Saidabad Y Junction towards DMRL.

The police have also diverted all district RTC buses and heavy vehicles travelling from MGBS and Chaderghat towards IS Sadan and Champapet. These vehicles will instead be routed via Nalgonda X Roads, Malakpet Gunj, Moosarambagh, Dilsukhnagar, Kothapet and LB Nagar Chowrasta.

Two-wheelers, three-wheelers and vehicles belonging to nearby colonies have been advised to use Yadagiri Theatre Road and the available internal by-lanes to reach their destinations.
