The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Dileep Kilaru presented a copy of his book tilted ‘Bharat Rising: In the Modi Era’ to Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu at Secretariat on Monday. The book was formally released on Saturday by Union Minister of State for Mines Bupathiraju Srinivasa Varma and State Minister of Health Satya Kumar Yadav.

On the occasion, Mr. Dileep said that it was a memorable moment for him to present a copy of his book to the Chief Minister. The Chief Minister was delighted to receive it and appreciated its unique and meaningful theme. He congratulated me on the effort and commended the work, he said.

According to the author, the book offers a thought-provoking commentary on corruption and its far-reaching impact on governance and public life. It examines how corruption affects politics, the media, the judiciary, policing, infrastructure, education, and other key institutions that shape society.

The book explores how corruption weakens democratic institutions, hampers development, and erodes public trust. It also raises important questions about accountability, civic responsibility, democratic values, and the role of citizens in building a stronger nation.

A significant portion of the book is devoted to the transformation India has undergone under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the country’s longest-serving continuously elected Prime Minister. The author analyses various governance reforms, developmental initiatives, and policy changes introduced during this period, while reflecting on their impact on India’s growth and global standing.
