The Prevention of Honour Killings Commission constituted by the Tamil Nadu government has invited for suggestions and views from the public, legal experts, social activists, non-governmental organisations, political parties, academicians, and other stakeholders.

Suggestions may be sent to hkcommission2025@gmail.com. Those who wish to appear in person before the Commission to submit their suggestions may also do so for its due consideration while preparing the report to be submitted to the Tamil Nadu government.

The Tamil Nadu government had in November 2025 constituted the Commission to provide recommendations and suggest measures for the prevention of honour killings in the State.

The Commission, with retired High Court judge Justice K.N. Basha as its chairperson and retired IAS officer V. Palanikumar and retired IPS officer S. Ramanathan as members, has its office in CMDA Tower II, No. 1A, Gandhi Irwin Road, Egmore, Chennai 600008.
