Sri Bhramaramba Mallikarjuna Swamy Temple Executive Officer M. Srinivasa Rao directed the officials to ensure that arrangements are made to facilitate pilgrims visiting the temple and that they are completely satisfied with the services provided by the Devasthanam.

Mr. Srinivasa Rao held a review meeting on the facilities provided by the temple management on Monday (June 15, 2026). He said that the objective of the temple management should be to achieve 100 per cent positive response from pilgrims in regard to the basic amenities such as drinking water supply, sanitation management, and restroom maintenance.

The EO instructed the concerned department heads to take measures to provide drinking water using water cans in queue lines and queue complexes. He also directed the sanitation department to streamline water usage, clear waste, and regularly clean the drainage system within the temple premises.

Officials were also instructed to continuously monitor the functioning of pipelines within the temple precincts and carry out repairs promptly. Steps should also be taken to ensure adequate supply of cool drinking water for the devotees.

The EO instructed officials to ensure that all pilgrim rest houses (satrams) continue to operate drinking water kiosks, as in the past, and to ensure that cold water is provided to devotees at these kiosks. He wanted officials concerned to ensure regular cleaning of cottages and rooms within the temple complex and to take measures to prevent the accumulation of garbage and debris in the surrounding areas.
