The Purogamana Kala Sahitya Sangham (Pukasa) commemorated artist K.V. Dayanandan, who died on Monday (June 1, 2026).
Poet Manambur Rajanbabu inaugurated the commemoration held here on Thursday. Pukasa president K. Padmanabhan presided. Mr. Rajanbabu called Dayanandan a unique personality who blended art with social responsibility.
The others who spoke included Venu Paloor, N.V. Mohammedali, K.V. Balakrishnan, Anil Kuruppan, and Sobhana Kumari. Pukasa secretary K.R. Nancy welcomed the gathering. Satyabhama Kottakkal proposed a vote of thanks.
