Padmaja assumes office as Collector of Kallakurichi

J.E. Padmaja on Sunday assumed office as the new Collector for Kallakurichi district.

Ms. Padmaja had earlier held the post of Additional Collector (Development)/Project Officer, District Rural Development Agency, Villupuram district. She replaced M.S. Prasanth, who was transferred and posted as Joint Secretary to Government, Finance Department.

Speaking to reporters, Ms. Padmaja said the administration would ensure expeditious redressal of grievances and strengthen inter-departmental coordination to drive the overall development of the district. Any challenges or issues that arise will be promptly addressed. All petitions received from the public will be forwarded to the concerned departments and resolved within a stipulated time-frame, she said.
