Sandeep Patil, senior IPS officer, took charge as the Inspector-General of Police, Northern Range, in Belagavi on Thursday.

Chetan Singh Rathore, who has been appointed as Inspector-General of Police, Criminal Investigation Department (CID), handed over charge to Mr. Patil at the IGP’s office.

A 2004 batch IPS officer, Mr. Patil has served as Superintendent of Police, Belagavi, in the past. He is a law graduate. He was serving as Inspector-General of Police, KSRP, till recently.
