Chief Minister Siddaramaiah allocated the Planning and Statistics portfolio to K. Venkatesh, Minister for Animal Husbandry and Sericulture, on Monday (May 25). Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot, on the advice of Mr. Siddaramaiah, has re-allocated the portfolio, which had come to the Chief Minister after the death of D. Sudhakar, who held the portfolio.
