Students at National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Chennai showcased their creations at the Graduation Show 2026 organised at the institute on Friday.
Students from the Department of Fashion Design, Fashion and Lifestyle Accessories, Leather Design, Knitwear Design, and Textile Design put on display their creations, as models sashayed down the ramp donning innovative garments and accessories, marking a fusion of creativity, craftsmanship, and market relevance, a press release stated.
Students of Fashion Management Studies and Fashion Technology presented their graduation research projects showcasing their analytical capabilities and industry-oriented research. The Graduation Show also had a curated exhibition displaying concept boards, installations, and interactive displays.
Malini V. Shankar, Vice-Chancellor, Indian Maritime University; Shehnaz Shariff, Chief Business Officer, Indian Terrain Fashion Limited; Mahesh Rajamani, Co-founder and Director, Ashvattha Consulting; and Divya Satyan, Director, NIFT, participated.
