T.N. CM Vijay condoles death of film producer Rajan

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay condoled the death of film producer K. Rajan, who died on Sunday (May 17, 2026).

“He boldly expressed his views on the welfare of the film industry, particularly small producers and distributors. His decades of contribution will be remembered by the film industry,” the Chief Minister said in a statement.

Rajan, 85, drowned in the Adyar river in Chennai.
