A workshop on integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools into teaching methodologies was organised at Dr. Lankapalli Bullayya Engineering College on Saturday under a joint initiative of Jana Vignana Vedika and Pragya Resources.

Inaugurating the workshop, G. Madhukumar, secretary and correspondent of the L.B. Colleges, said teachers should adopt modern teaching practices by effectively using AI tools. He observed that AI had become an integral part of contemporary education and stressed the need for training teachers in the technology.

K. Harshavardhan, chief executive officer of BotClub Private Limited, said AI would not replace teachers, but those who failed to use AI tools risked falling behind.

The workshop was presided over by N. Chandrasekhar, course coordinator and honorary president of Jana Vignana Vedika, Visakhapatnam district. Deepak Choudhary, principal of Dr. L.B. Engineering College, and resource persons I.S.V. Manjula and Dandu Ganesh participated in the programme.

Around 130 teachers attended the workshop, which focused on using AI tools to prepare presentations, lesson plans, assignments and worksheets. Certificates were distributed to the participants at the end of the programme.
