Panchaganga Express to short-terminate at Yeshwantpur for three days

The Murdeshwar-Sir M Visvesvaraya Terminal Bengaluru-Murdeshwar Express will be diverted to run via Yeshwantpur-Hebbal and Banaswadi skipping stoppage Bengaluru Cantonment for two/ three days in the month of July.

Train No. 16596 Karwar-KSR Bengaluru Panchaganga Express will be short-terminated at Yeshwantpur and remains cancelled between Yeshwantpur and KSR Bengaluru for three days, from July 31 to August 2.

A release from Konkan Railway Corporation here said the short-termination and partial cancellation of Train No. 16596 was decided by the South Western Railway to undertake a pre-NI (non-interlockng) and NI block for yard remodelling work at KSR Bengaluru Station.

Its pairing service, KSR Bengaluru-Karwar Panchaganga Express (Train No. 16595) will short-originate from Yeshwantpur from August 1 to August 3 (three days) at its scheduled departure time and remains partially cancelled between KSR Bengaluru and Yeshwantpur.

Murdeshwar Express

Meanwhile, Murdeshwar-Sir M Visvesvaraya Terminal Bengaluru (SMVTB)-Murdeshwar Express will be diverted, skipping stoppage at Bengaluru Cantonment for two days in July.

Train No. 16586 Murdeshwar – SMVTB Express journey commencing on July 16 and 17 (2 days) would be diverted via Yeshwantpur – Hebbal and Banaswadi skipping stoppage at Bengaluru Cant. station. Train No. 16585 SMVTB – Murdeshwar Express journey commencing from July 17 to July 19 (3 days) would be diverted via Banaswadi – Hebbal – Yesvantpur Junction skipping stoppage at Bengaluru Cant. station.

Train No. 16586 – Murdeshwar – SMVTB Express journey commencing on August 3 would be rescheduled by 60 mins ex-Murdeshwar, the release added.
