The 15th Legislative Assembly has been dissolved based on the orders issued by Lieutenant Governor K Kailashnathan.
A communication from the Legislative Assembly Secretariat on Wednesday said the 15th Puducherry Legislative Assembly has been dissolved “on and from the 5th of May 2026 as per the order of the Lt. Governor.”
The dissolution of the existing Assembly was a mandatory procedure for the constitution of a new Assembly after completing elections.
