The AssamCongress has convened a meeting with its MLAs-elect and poll candidates to analyse its defeat in the Assembly election.
State party chief Gaurav Gogoi, who lost the Jorhat seat, told presspersons on Tuesday (May 5, 2026) that his party will learn “important lessons” from the poll outcome to return as a stronger political force.
