A prominent wealthy family in Tamil Nadu has witnessed three of its members getting elected as legislators in the recently concluded Assembly polls, representing three different parties in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.

Santiago Martin, often referred to as ‘Lottery King’ and founder of Martin Group, now has three MLA-elects in his family: wife Leemarose Martin won on the AIADMK’s ticket in Lalgudi (Tiruchi district), son Joseph Charles Martin clinched the Kamarajar Nagar seat in Puducherry, and son-in-law, Aadhav Arjuna, won on the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam’s ticket in the Villivakkam constituency (Chennai), beating a close associate of the DMK leadership, Karthik Mohan.
