DMK will function as an efficient Opposition: M.K. Stalin

The outgoing Chief Minister M.K. Stalin on Monday said the DMK, which had functioned efficiently as a ruling party, would now function as an effective Opposition.

In a social media message, the DMK president said he accepted the people’s verdict and congratulated the victors on their win. He said the DMK had implemented a range of welfare schemes over the past five years and provided good governance. “We developed the State in all sectors. We sought votes based on our achievements and for the continuation of welfare schemes,” he said.
