Communist Party of India (Marxist) [CPI(M)] State secretary M.V. Govindan has said that the Left Democratic Front (LDF) will undertake a comprehensive review of its electoral setback in Kerala and move forward with corrective measures.

Acknowledging that the setback and its scale were not anticipated, Mr. Govindan told mediapersons in Thiruvananthapuram that all aspects of the verdict would be examined in depth. “This was not the result we expected,” he said.
