Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant-Governor Manoj Sinha on Sunday (May 3, 2026) galvanised a major rally in Srinagar for the ongoing anti-drug initiatives and issued a stern warning to narco-terror networks and anti-national elements.

On Mr. Sinha’s invitation, the Speaker of the House, Cabinet Ministers, legislators, heads of regional parties, top security officials, religious leaders, educational institutes and administrators of hospitals attended a two-kilometre-long rally from the Tourist Reception Centre (TRC) ground to Lal Chowk. Students performed skits, sang songs and raised awareness on substance abuse on the occasion.
