Sringeri constituency: Verification of postal ballots, recount begin in Chikkamagaluru

The verification of postal ballots polled for Sringeri Assembly constituency during the elections in April-May 2023 has begun, as per instructions of the High Court of Karnataka.

The strong room of the constituency at the EVM warehouse in Shivamogga was opened in the presence of the Returning Officer. The box containing postal ballots was carried to IDSG College, where the verification and counting will take place.
