Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary on Friday (May 1, 2026) visited Nalanda, the home District of former Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, for the first time since assuming office.

Mr. Choudhary, after inaugurating the State fair organised at Sarmera block, addressed a public meeting where he praised Mr. Kumar for the development work done not only in Nalanda but also in the entire State. He asserted that Bihar is on the path of development under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Nitish Kumar.
