Qantas, Australia’s national airline that launched the Bengaluru-Sydney flights in September 2022, which was the first direct connection between South India and Australia by any airline.

Qantas will temporarily suspend direct flights between Bengaluru and Sydney from August to October due to high fuel prices.
“Qantas and Jetstar have also reduced capacity on other markets. This includes Qantas’ Sydney to Bengaluru service being temporarily suspended from August and resuming at the end of October,“ the airline said on Friday.
