With the new paperless system being implemented in Karnataka, digital records will be secured through encryption, audit trails, and hash-based verification. Any changes made after digital signing can be easily detected.

For the first time in Karnataka, the Department of Stamps and Registration launched paperless registration through Kaveri 2.0 portal at the sub-registrar’s office in Chamarajanagar town on April 30.

Inspector General of Registration and Commissioner of Stamps M. P. Mullai Muhilan launched the paperless registration process at the sub-registrar’s office in the taluk office premises of Chamarajanagar town by pressing a button on a computer.
