Telangana Director General of Police B. Shivadhar Reddy was given a warm ceremonial farewell parade at the Sudarshana Ceremonial Parade Ground at the RBVRR Telangana Police Academy on Thursday (April 30, 2026) marking the end of his 32-year career in the police service.

The farewell parade began at 7.45 a.m. and included an inspection of the parade by the outgoing DGP, a march past, review order, addresses by senior officers, presentation of mementoes and a group photograph. C. V. Anand, designated as the next DGP and currently Special Chief Secretary (Home), attended the ceremony and addressed the gathering.
