The Hindu Group on Wednesday (April 29, 2026) launched The Hindu TeenDigest, a new weekend tabloid that caters to teenagers. A revamp of The Hindu In School, the 32-page edition aims to engage curious young minds in an age of endless scrolling. Content ranges from deep dives into science and world affairs, to stories designed to spark creativity.

Speaking during the launch at The Hindu office in Chennai, Nirmala Lakshman, Chairperson, The Hindu Group, said that as a publication, “it is vital that we remain culturally significant and reliable, as young people today are caught up in social media and are targets of misinformation.”
