The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a thunderstorm forecast for 27 Telangana districts for Wednesday (April 29, 2026).
The forecast comes a day after a sudden and intense hailstorm swept through parts of the Shamshabad to Nadergul stretch on Monday (April 27, 2026) evening. The storm, followed by light rainfall, left roads blanketed in a thick layer of hailstones. Several videos of the hailstorm went viral on social media, showing residents capturing the weather event.
