A final-year B.Tech student of Sharnbasva University in Kalaburagi has been selected for financial assistance of ₹14 lakh under the MSME National Idea Hackathon 5.0 organised by the Union Government for her project on AgriCarbon production and carbon neutralisation in agriculture.

K.S. Nisha from Sharnbasva University is the only student from the Kalyana Karnataka region among those selected for funding in the national-level competition, which aims to encourage innovation and research-based solutions to environmental and industrial challenges.
