Six schools in Tiruvallur were identified as model polling booths in the recently-concluded elections to the State Assembly and the district administration chose to use Khadi Prakritik paint, an eco-friendly coating, to keep the classrooms cool.

When six schools in Tiruvallur were identified as model polling booths in the recently concluded election to the State Assembly, the district administration chose to spend a little more on the paint. It used Khadi Prakritik paint, an eco-friendly coating that also keeps the classrooms cool.

The classrooms were painted green with this non-toxic paint, which comprises sustainable ingredients.
