Brisk polling witnessed in Virudhunagar district

Brisk polling was reported in all the seven Assembly constituencies of Virudhunagar district since morning. So much so, that the number of votes polled after 6 p.m. was minimal as over 84.09% of voters had exercised their franchise by then.

After a usual start of a fewer voters present at the polling booths at the time of commencement of election at 7 a.m., the crowd started to throng the 2,001 polling stations in the district.
