The first day of the Common Entrance Test (CET-2026), conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) for admission to engineering and other professional courses, went off smoothly on Thursday.
According to a press statement by KEA Executive Director H. Prasanna, 96% of the candidates attended the Physics and Chemistry examinations held across 745 centres in the state.
