Preetham G. Poojary, from Mother Theresa Memorial School Shankaranarayana in Kundapura Taluk of Udupi district, was among the seven Class 10 students to score the full 625 marks in the SSLC-1 examination.

Teachers encouraged me, and my parents pushed me, which enabled me to score full marks, said Class 10 student Preetham G. Poojary of Udupi district, after SSLC examination-1 results were announced on April 23.

A student of Mother Theresa Memorial School in Shankaranarayana of Kundapura Taluk, Preetham is the eldest of the two children of Ganapathy Poojary, a private bus conductor on the Udupi-Mandarthi-Hebri route. His mother, Nagaratna, is a home maker.
