Minister directs officials to inspect quality of mid-day meals served at schools

Energy Minister Gottipati Ravi Kumar directed the officials to regularly inspect the quality of food being served to the students under the ‘Dokka Seethamma Mid-day Meal’ scheme in government schools during his visit to Addanki constituency on Tuesday. He also instructed the officials to partake in the mid-day meals at schools on a rotational basis and question any lapses in the implementation of the scheme.

During his visit to the constituency, the Minister distributed bicycles to 72 students of Zilla Parishad High School (ZPHS) in Kopparam village of Santhamaguluru mandal in Prakasam district with the support of Action for Social Service in Social Transformation (ASSIST), a voluntary organisation.
