Union Minister Shobha Karandlaje accused the Congress and INDIA alliance of “betraying” women and the southern States by opposing key legislative measures in Parliament.

Addressing a press conference at the State BJP office here on Sunday, she described April 17, 2026, as a “Black Day” in the history of Indian women, alleging that the alliance led by Rahul Gandhi had “deceived” both women and southern India.
