Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar on Tuesday (April 14, 2026) issued a statement urging employees of Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) to withdraw the announced strike, assuring that the government is ready to address their grievances through dialogue.

He said issues relating to the merger of TGRTC with the government and trade union matters fall within the government’s purview, while other concerns could be resolved through discussions. He underscored that the government’s “doors are always open”.
