Pregnant woman dies in Belagavi hospital, family alleges negligence

Family members of a pregnant woman, who died during delivery and lost her child, have alleged medical negligence by doctors of the district hospital in Belagavi.

Eeramma Sheegihalli, 21, died in the district hospital in Belagavi on April 13. Her husband Nagaraj Sheegihalli and her mother Gouravva told the police that she did not receive proper treatment after she began suffering from diarrhoea.
