Asha Bhosle’s tryst with Telugu songs

Legendary singer Asha Bhosle, who passed away on Sunday, also left her mark in the Telugu film industry singing in her inimitable style, though her contribution was limited in number with only a handful of songs to her credit.

However, they continue to be cherished by the Telugu music lovers. She made her Telugu debut in 1981 with the song “Idi Maunageetam” under the baton of composer Satyam in the film Paalu Neellu. The song was picturised on Jayaprada.
