Governor condoles death of playback singer Asha Bhosle

Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar on Sunday condoled the death of playback singer Asha Bhosle. A social media post of the Lok Bhavan quoted the Governor as saying: “Deeply saddened by the demise of legendary playback singer Tmt.Asha Bhosle, whose timeless voice enriched Indian music and touched millions of hearts across generations. Her unparalleled contribution to the world of music will forever remain an inspiration. My heartfelt condolences to her family, friends, and admirers. May her soul rest in peace.”
