A routine drunk driving check in Jubilee Hills led to the seizure of a BMW car fitted with a concealed flip number plate system, after police noticed the plate change in front of them past midnight.
The driver, Gautham Reddy, a student, was stopped on Road No. 1 and found to be under the influence of alcohol. While a constable was moving the vehicle to the roadside, he inadvertently pressed a button near the steering, triggering the number plate to flip, drawing the attention of other personnel at the spot.
