Two red stone mines closed in Belagavi

Officers of the Department of Mines and Geology have cancelled two lease agreements for red stone (laterite) mining in a village in Belagavi district following a direction from the Union government.

The two cancelled lease agreements were in Inam Badas village of Belagavi taluk.
