Asha Bhonsle was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai on April 11, 2026. Reports suggested that the legendary singer suffered a cardiac arrest on Saturday. However, now her grand daughter Zanai Bhosle took to her Instagram profile to share an official update on the matter.

She mentioned exhaustion and chest infection in her post and also requested for privacy. Zanai also shared a picture on Instagram where she can be seen hugging her grand mother.

Zanai Bhosle shared a picture with Asha Tai and wrote, ‘My grandmother, Asha Bhosle due to extreme exhaustion and suffering a chest infection has been admitted to hospital and we request you to value our privacy. Treatment is ongoing and hopefully everything will be well and we shall update you positively.’

Medical bulletin will be shared by Breach Candy Hospital

Veteran singer Asha Bhosle was hospitalised at Breach Candy Hospital, situated on Nepean Sea Road, Mumbai, after a decline in her health condition. Speaking to a reporter, Dr Pratit Samdhani, a doctor at Breach Candy Hospital, said that Asha Bhosle had a cardiac arrest early in the morning and was shifted to the hospital right away. Currently, she is under treatment at the ICU. However, the hospital has yet to release any medical statement concerning her condition.

As per hospital sources, a medical bulletin regarding her condition will soon be released by the hospital.

Ashish Shelar visited Asha Bhosle

The Culture Minister of Maharashtra state, Ashish Shelar, paid a visit to Breach Candy Hospital and enquired about the health of the legendary singer Asha Bhosle. While meeting at the hospital, he also got some information about singer’s health from the Mangeshkar family.
