Leaders of Backward Classes (BC) associations met Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu at the Secretariat on Friday, seeking the establishment of a special BC Commission and other welfare measures.

They urged the State government to take up with the Centre the issue of reservations for BCs based on population proportion and sought early enactment of a protection law for BC communities.
