Judith Jessica Pinto, a student of Government Pre-University College at Arasikere in Hassan district, secured 593/600 in the science stream.

She scored 100 each in Kannada, physics and mathematics, 99 in biology, 98 in chemistry and 96 in English papers. “When I joined the government college, many questioned my choice and felt it was the wrong choice. I had difficulty in defending my decision then. But now my marksheet will silence them all,” said Ms. Pinto.
