Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee president and UDF Peravur candidate Sunny Joseph cast his vote on Thursday (April 9, 2026) morning and expressed confidence of a sweeping victory for the alliance in the State.

Mr. Joseph, accompanied by his wife, family, voted at booth at 4 at St. John Baptist English Medium High School, Kadathumkadav in the Peravur Assembly constituency. He asserted that there is a strong pro-UDF wave across Kerala and predicted that the front would win over 100 seats.
